Starfury The Ultimate’s Crisis

Well what a weekend it was for me, As you have read I was at Starfury The Ultimate’s Crisis for the DC tv shows last weekend and got to meet Kat a lot over the weekend and watch two panels as well. On the Friday Kat and all the rest of the guests came out for the opening ceremony to say hey to us all and after that the gold who I was one of them got to have a meet and greet with all the guests for 2 minutes and Kat sat down next to me it was amazing people, I got to ask her a very quick question with will she be releasing any more music and her answer was “the short answer is yes but I don’t no when they will be coming out but I still have some old song’s to come and I got to sing the opening song on the podcast and that was a cool thing”, So at some point we will have more Kat music coming yay. On to the Saturday it kicked of it photoshoots and I got my one with Kat done, after that it was onto the autos and I got Kat to do my photoshoot from when I meet her in 2018 at MCM, and had a little talk about meeting her there and her putting Maya on my arrow poster as she could not put Mia yet so she did her full character name on my Arrow 10×8 for me and I got a Shadowhunters 10×8 done as well. At the end of the day it was time for Kat’s first panel with her Arrow co-star Joseph David-Jones, she was great to watch in the panel and talked a lot about all things from her new show to maths, I was right at the front so had a great view for photos and then last thing that night was the Cosplay Competition Kat did go but did not sit with the others or take part in it just stood at the back and was out the door as soon as she could but Beebo won yay. And on to the Sunday again it all kicked of with photoshoots and I got one with Kat and Joseph this time after that Kat and Joseph had the first panel of the day and she was a lot more active in this one, jumping up and down showing of some moves and just having fun and after that I did not see Kat again till the end of the day with the Closing Ceremony were all the guests stand up and say thank you, what a great time they have had or in Caity Lotz’s case run away and then come back and do some running about as she lost her voice. And that was it the full weekend and it took me a week to get over it lol. As I was gold I got to be very closes at all the points so I got to take some amazing photos of Kat and you can find them all in the gallery.

Return to the Shadows with Katherine McNamara and Dominic Sherwood With Alberto Rosende

Kat and Dom sit down with real-life parabatai Alberto Rosende, AKA Simon Lewis Your Lordship Daylighter, to talk about learning to advocate for themselves on set, the bum shots that may very well live on to this day, and the Shadow Bros spinoff that would rock the world.
Return to the Shadows with Katherine McNamara and Dominic Sherwood Episode 3

It may be a dead man’s party, but it sure is a good one. In this week’s rewatch, Kat and Dom dive into the beginnings of the parabatai bond, some steamy Clace moments that spark the question of “what is love, really?”, and the moment that broke Dom (literally).
Return to the Shadows with Katherine McNamara and Dominic Sherwood Episode 2

We kick off our rewatch of Episode 2 with the age-old question: should Clary have gone with Simon or Jace? While Dom says Simon, budding relationships are everywhere – from Clace to Sizzy to the best connection of all: the one between the show and its fans.
“Love Classified” HD Screen Captures

Kat’s first movie of 2022 Hallmarks Love Classified premiered on Saturday (16th April) and it took me a couple of days to get a working download for it but I did at last only bad news is its a MQ 720p one but if a HQ 1070p comes out I will redo them. Kat plays Taylor who is trying to keep a shop open, find love, work things out with her mom who left 5 years before and just being a role model to her younger employee. It’s a cute and fun little movie that has some good characters in it so if you can watch it I would suggest to do. You can find over 1,000 Screen Captures from the movie up in the gallery now.
Hardin portrays romance novelist Emilia, described as a whirlwind who blows back into the lives of her adult children, Taylor (McNamara) and Zach (Lloyd-Jones), under the pretense of a book signing arranged by her hometown’s local book shop. As Emilia tries to reconnect, Taylor and Zach explore new and past relationships through an app that boasts old-fashioned human connection by way of the classified ad. Zach is given a chance to heal old wounds while Taylor matches with a woman that changes the way she’s always thought about love.

Kat For Euphoria Magazine

Euphoriazine – Of her character in the upcoming Hallmark film Love, Classified (out April 21), Katherine McNamara says, “Taylor and I share one main quality, above all else, we are both workaholics.” No kidding. McNamara has been working since she was 13 years old. She had a lead role in two hit television shows — Mia Smoak on Arrow and Clary Fray on Shadowhunters. Since both of those shows ended in 2019 and 2020, respectively, McNamara has been in the Stephen King miniseries The Stand, as well as several horror films, plus she has a couple new projects on the horizon. McNamara’s Instagram bio describes her as a professional chameleon and with the amount of entirely diverse characters she has played, it’s a title she has earned.
Her most imminent project, Love, Classified, tells the story of a romance novelist and mother (played by Melora Hardin) who returns home from a book tour, hopeful to become closer to her children. Meanwhile her son, Zach (Max Lloyd-Jones), and daughter, Taylor, (McNamara) become involved in a new dating app that offers a fresh perspective on love and life in general. It’s a pretty significant departure from her time cage fighting, battling demons, and shooting down foes in a warehouse, but the role seems a natural choice for McNamara, who is happy to talk about love in all of its forms. “The great thing about Love, Classified is that it does what Schitt’s Creek did in a beautiful way, like Schitt’s Creek said it so perfectly — it’s about loving the wine, not the label,” she tells EUPHORIA. “It is not the labels that are important, it’s not about anything other than having an honest, authentic connection to another human being.” That authenticity is something she brings to all of her roles and possibly what has made her so popular in the darker worlds she has existed in. Even when she is kicking ass, bloody and beaten, McNamara’s characters are consistently human and relatable. So even when she slips easily into the skin of a character in the 1800s — like in her upcoming TV series Walker: Independence — plays the daughter of a superhero —like when she was Mia Smoak on Arrow — or portrays the daughter of a romance novelist in Love, Classified, there is always that spark of vulnerability that is 100% McNamara. Maybe that’s what makes her so in demand no matter the genre.
If there is a genre that most would associate with McNamara, it’s fantasy. She became a fixture in the public eye through Shadowhunters on Freeform, which was a television adaptation of an already popular book series called The Mortal Instruments. After a failed film adaptation, the stakes were high for the show. It helps that McNamara took the role just as seriously as any fan — because she was a fan too. “I grew up loving those books and those films and the mythology of the world in the sense of an escape,” she shares. “It had always been a dream of mine to put on a superset or play someone with magical abilities. It’s just fun being in the forest and sword fighting. You feel like you are 6 years old again and that’s why I love the life I live, because I get to do so many different things.” That enthusiasm ended up serving her well. Shadowhunters has the kind of following that hasn’t died down even three years after the show’s end. While some critics called the film a disappointment, largely because of the awkward lack of chemistry within the cast, Shadowhunters was filled with believable people in believable relationships who just happened to be dealing with unbelievable situations.
