This took some time to track down as it never came out on DVD over here but I at last got my copy of Kat’s 2013 movie Contest. Kat plays Sarah O’Malley who is the new girl in town that one of the main characters Tommy Dolen played by Danny Flaherty falling in love with, And that is pretty much all Kat does in the movie and for being one of the main cast and all the promo she did for the movie she was in very little of it and not doing much when she was in it. I have added in DVD caps from both the main mover and the bouns features Kat’s Interview, Chatter Music Video and Outtakes and you can find them all in the galley.

#Shadowhunters and #Arrow star Kat McNamara spoke in an EXCLUSIVE interview with Armazém Pop about her latest movie: Untitled Horror Movie.

In the chat, which also included the participation of the production director, Nick Simon, she tells how it was to film at home during the pandemic and how she felt behind the cameras – including revealing her desire to one day be a director.

We got to sit down Katherine McNamara and Timothy Granaderos, who star in the new film, Untitled Horror Movie!! We played Never Have I Ever with the two and learned that they have both stolen someone’s hoodie, they have both peed their pants from laughing, and Kat has done something overly romantic to win someone over. We talked about their new movie, Untitled Horror Movie and spoke about what fans can expect to see for the cast. Without giving away too many spoilers, we chatted about a possible sequel and Kat and Timothy both told us about their experience filming a horror movie. From director Nick Simon, who also co-wrote the film with actor Luke Baines, Untitled Horror Movie is part comedy and part horror flick, following six co-stars whose TV show is on the verge of cancellation, so they decide to shoot their own movie remotely from their homes. While meeting up over their electronic devices to work on the plot, they unintentionally summon a demonic spirit that turns their movie into real-life horror.

During this virtual 1-on-1 interview with Collider, which you can both watch and read, actress Katherine McNamara talked about overcoming any obstacles that got thrown at them during the shoot, diving into her sweet and ditzy character, the challenge of having to be aware of so many aspects of the production while they worked remotely, and building cast chemistry during a pandemic. She also talked about the continued love from the Shadowhunters fans, the disappointment of her Arrow spinoff not getting picked up, and whether she’d be willing to return to the Arrow-verse.

Kat’s new movie Untiled Horror Movie is out today on online video on demand iTunes, Amazon, & VOD!. I managed to get hold of a full 1080p download of it for the site but I did have to resize the photos down a lot as there were big files. The movie was filmed last year when there were all in quarantine and filmed all by its cast alone with some out side guidance on sounds, lighting, makeup etc but I think the full cast did a amazing job with what they had to work with in there own homes. Kat plays Chrissy who is the air head on the cast and walks right into danger and it reunites Kat with her Shadownhunters brother Luke Baines as well as staring Darren Barnet, Timothy Granaderos, Claire Holt and Emmy Raver-Lampman.
